The sum of two squares can be factored using complex numbers: a2 + b2 = (a + bi)(a − bi)
The sum of two squares can be factored by complex numbers; is that good to know? Will it help engineers, doctors, or students in college? Is the honors curriculum even worth anything? These are my own questions I made up Please help.
you don't have to answer those specific questions any help is good
if this is useless and has no benefit at all please say so.
It is helpful to know complex numbers for Engineering as it helps us better understand circuit They are better expressed using simple complex numbers (For Capacitance and Inductance)
So in Engineering you factor the sum of two squares?
using complex numbers to factor them*
