This should've been answered in the link I sent you before, it's just most likely indirect.
Also, if your ulterior motive is to shake the stability on the material taught in our education system, or say, to stump your Algebra professor, then there are plenty of people out there dedicating their lives taught just that lol you shouldn't get too hung up on it.
