YoursTruly:

Alright, so basically interposition and nullification mean to prevent or stop something from happening. Basically This paragraph's purpose is to question where the religious voices were when the African American race was being treated poorly and were unable to make a difference due to the nullification.

YoursTruly:

What is the tone of this paragraph? It starts out light with the descriptions and imagery of the churches but then it gets heavy when it turns to question the churches and bring up the racial injustice.

YoursTruly:

For the third one, "what does King hope to accomplish with this paragraph" I feel as though he wants answers as to why voices with the ability to make a difference turned their backs on the African Americans.

YoursTruly:

And for the last one, it's basically the same as the other one. How is this part related to the others and how is it different? What ideas does King use in this part that he maybe did or didn't use in the others? What does he address in this part and how does it fit with the others?

Nevey:

thanks again :) it took even longer this time lmao for me to get back to u
