A uniform region occupies an area based on a homogeneous characteristic, for example, __________. A. cities connected by roads or railroads B. warm weather in the southern United States C. wheat growing in Kansas D. tropical storms in the southeastern United States

JustSaiyan:

First, you must know two things to answer this. The first, you must know what a Uniform Region is. A uniform region is nothing more than an area defined by it's features common or lacking for that area that is different than somewhere else. Secondly, you must know what homogeneous means. Homogeneous means they have the same traits, they are similar. In short, it wants to know an area that has something specifically known to that area. Honestly, I would say A, since it seems to be the most obvious answer here. Cities are always connected using roadways. However, they aren't always connected using railways. D could fit as well, being that Florida is hit with a hurricane several times a year now. I'll let you decide which is the best answer.
