Vocaloid:

any ideas? P(A) is the probability of A happening P(A bar) is the probability of A not happening these probabilities must sum to 1 that being said which statement is false?

Vocaloid:

P(A) + P(A bar) = 1 based on this equation, which choice out of the 4 options is false? you have to re-arrange the equation algebraically

Vocaloid:

P(A) + P(A bar) = 1 if you subtract P(A) from both sides you get 1 - P(A) = P(A bar) if you go back to the first equation, subtract P(A bar) from both sides you get 1 - P(A bar) = P(A) based on these results which equation cannot be derived from the starting equation?
