for the addition part just add the corresponding entries and construct a new 3 x 2 matrix to hold the sums

so for example you would add 18 + 17 and let this be the first entry in the sum matrix

for example, you add the first number in the season 1 matrix to the first number in the season 2 matrix, so 18 + 17 not 18 + 37
