This isn't a full question....and if you were to find the rules of a game, it should be in an instruction booklet or online.

This is a very easy question to answer. Assuming you do in fact have "The rules of the game". Among the first characters introduced will be the protagonist (the good guy, usually the main character). Shouldn't be hard to pick out. Usually the one telling the story in first person, or the one in center focus in third person. If neither of those help, it's the good guy. Quite simple.
