In general, how do veins differ in structure from capillaries and arteries? Veins have more smooth muscle tissue than arteries and capillaries. Veins appear rounder in a cross section than arteries and capillaries. Veins have valves which are absent in arteries and capillaries. Veins have thinner inner walls than arteries and capillaries.

Hello; Sorry D is incorrect. The correct choice is C) Veins have valves which are absent in arteries and capillaries. Veins do not have thinner inner walls. They have thicker inner walls to prevent bad things getting into the blood flow/ blood stream. Also they do not have smooth muscle tissue the muscle tissue they have more of a rough muscle tissue to prevent vein damage.
