Steps of the scientific method biology level

dude:

Are you asking which are the steps?

adevanath:

@dude I am asking what the steps are

mhchen:

1. Observation - Look at something without doing anything to it 2. Hypothesis - Make up a random explanation that explains what you saw. Like what "caused" that thing to happen. This must be testable/falsifiable. Meaning that it could be disproven. 3. Prediction - Based on your hypothesis come up with an experiment and say like "If X happened then Y should happen. If X doesn't happen then Y shouldn't happen". 4. Experiment 5. Conclude - You can't 100% prove or disprove something. You can only say "You have evidence to prove/disprove" Optional: 6. Peer-Review - Your report must be sent to the scientific group of nerds that look at your report to see if there's anything wrong. If they approve it then your report gets published in journal. If they think the report is bad then you gotta go back to step 2.
