if you feel safe confronting him, gather as much evidence as you can and be prepared to confront him when you two are alone and have time to really talk about the situation

based on the situation/his response, etc. you may or may not decide to give him a second chance. personally I wouldn't but some people are forgiving enough and resilient enough to give it another go.
