What is the main advantage of working with vector graphics instead of bitmaps? How is that advantage achieved intechnologicalterms? Explain.

Ultrilliam:

Vector graphics are infinitely scalable. It achieves this by being made up of mathematical equations that tell it how to scale. A rasterized image is a series of pixels with color data, so in order to scale it, it would require algorithms to try to "predict" what pixels would go where.

Ultrilliam:

You can actually see the difference in action when comparing the fans icon compared to the menu icon. The menu icon is made of SVG, while the fans icon is a rasterized image. This is why there is an observable quality difference

ZoeyBiocth16:

thank you ultri
