Historical/Biographical Analysis Q1: Has the idea of "freedom from fear" changed over time? Compare and contrast both speeches to answer this question.
`The fourth is freedom from fear–which, translated into world terms, means a world-wide reduction of armaments to such a point and in such a thorough fashion that no nation will be in a position to commit an act of physical aggression against any neighbor–anywhere in the world. That is no vision of a distant millennium. It is a definite basis for a kind of world attainable in our own time and generation.…. A good society is able to face schemes of world domination and foreign revolutions alike without fear.…`
^Roosevelt
`We believe that our citizens should be able to live free from fear. So, like generations before us, we stand united in the defense of our countries and against those who would terrorize our people, or endanger the globe with the world's most dangerous weapons.` ^ Obama
ok so thats would be a quote we would use for Roosevelt and obama
XD Ultri was spying on us
anyway
Watta kreap e.e
The idea of freedom from fear has not changed that much through out the years in stead of changing it has defined us to a point where we have "a good society that is able to face schemes of world domination and foreign revolutions" because we pride ourselves so much to not live in fear that we grew stronger as an economy and that "we stand united in the defense of our countries and against those who would terrorize our people" because standing together as a union makes us stronger not only in numbers but also in spirits.
? i dont know if i stretched that out to much but i think i did pretty good e.e

Gender Analysis Q2: Is the "freedom from fear" a concern for both men and women equally? Compare and contrast both speeches to answer this question.
This nation has placed its destiny in the hands and heads and hearts of its millions of free men and women; and its faith in freedom under the guidance of God. Freedom means the supremacy of human rights everywhere. Our support goes to those who struggle to gain those rights and keep them. Our strength is our unity of purpose. ^Roosevelt
I cannot find an Obama quote for this question. e.e
We stand together and we work together and we bleed together and we build together, in good times and in bad, because when we do, our nations are more secure, our people are more prosperous, and the world is a safer and better and more just place. [We seek] security and prosperity…not only for our own citizens, but for people around the world…. ^obama?
this is the only thing that seems like he saying everyone equal e.e
what u think
Tru tru Gewd job e.e

Freedom from fear is not a concern for men and women equally because "this nation has placed its destiny in the hands and heads and hearts of its millions of free men and women for hundreds of years. Both presidents explain how "we all stand together and we work together and we bleed together and we build together, in good times and in bad, because when we do, our nations are more secure, our people are more prosperous, and the world is a safer and better and more. This does not mean it would make the men and women concerned it would make them feel empowered and willing to do anything for their country.

`For there is nothing mysterious about the foundations of a healthy and strong democracy. The basic things expected by our people of their political and economic systems are simple. They are Equality of opportunity for youth and for others. Jobs for those who can work.Security for those who need it.The ending of special privilege for the few.The preservation of civil liberties for all. The enjoyment . . . the enjoyment of the fruits of scientific progress in a wider and constantly rising standard of living. These are the simple, the basic things that must never be lost sight of in the turmoil and unbelievable complexity of our modern world. The inner and abiding strength of our economic and political systems is dependent upon the degree to which they fulfill these expectations.…` ^Roosevelt
`And so in the sunlight of this beautiful morning… we reaffirm the enduring values in which our alliance is forever rooted. We believe that [all people], if they're willing to work hard [and] if they play by the rules, deserve a fair shot [and] deserve a chance to succeed. So in these tough economic times, we stand united in our determination to create the jobs that put our people back to work, in expanding trade that is both free and fair, and in fighting for a global economy where every nation plays by the same rules.` ^Obama
I do not feel the poor and wealthy citizens where concerned about the "freedom of fear" because both presidents explained how " They are Equality of opportunity for youth and for others. Jobs for those who can work.Security for those who need it.The ending of special privilege for the few.The preservation of civil liberties for all." they also explain how they "believe that [all people], if they're willing to work hard [and] if they play by the rules, deserve a fair shot [and] deserve a chance to succeed. So in these tough economic times, we stand united in our determination to create the jobs that put our people back to work, in expanding trade that is both free and fair, and in fighting for a global economy where every nation plays by the same rules." This wouldnt make the poor and wealthy concerned it would make them eager to get back out their and earn what they work for.

I do not feel the poor and wealthy citizens where concerned about the "freedom of fear" because president Roosevelt explained how " They are Equality of opportunity for youth and for others. Jobs for those who can work .Security for those who need it.The ending of special privilege for the few.The preservation of civil liberties for all." But obama also explain how he "believe's that [all people], if they're willing to work hard [and] if they play by the rules, deserve a fair shot [and] deserve a chance to succeed. This wouldnt make the poor and wealthy concerned it would make them eager to get back out their and earn what they work for. Both presidents have similar feelings on this topic but both are also very different.
^i switched it up a little bit
Es okie. o:
In conclusion Freedom from fear is nothing to be concerned about. I say this because every event that this speech takes place the new president finds a way to comfort and empower the citizens in a different way that has never been done. This is a way that makes newer generations want to do something for this world and change whats bad to turn into good. We have come so far from fearing each other and not accepting people for who they are and now in 2019 we have never been more empowered and defined in our lives of living in this country.
@Elsa213 hows this for conclusion
