NOpanda14:

try to limit down to two choices

standfast01:

idk I know how to do it I just can't get the answer

NOpanda14:

my hint is you can cross off c and b

adevanath:

I meant A or C

dude:

Guys you have to teach him the process not do it for him lol Okay in order to solve this you have to remember the rule about combining like terms x+x is just 2x You cannot combine numbers that have different letters x+y = x+y (no change)

adevanath:

it is a she for ur info

NOpanda14:

it ends up being c after u solve it because you have add the x together and then you have to distrbut the 3 and then add the y and then the 5 would multiply by 3 which means your answer is C

adevanath:

That's what I thought

standfast01:

Sorry @dude but I'm a girl I just wrestle for standFast that's why my pf name is that

NOpanda14:

im glad i could help

standfast01:

Thx

TheSmartOne:

You did the opposite of help. Telling her which answers to eliminate without explaining, and finally just giving the answers. When she gets another similar question, she'll be just as confused.

standfast01:

Yeah I was at first but then they explained it to me thx tho

adevanath:

I thinks she understands she can use the first one as an example with the rest

standfast01:

Thx guys

adevanath:

yup np
