AnimeGhoul8863:

In this story the i agree that it reflects the values and issues of the time. I say this because when Mr.Hyde got money Mr. Utterson was suspicious he then went to Mr.Hyde's house and found him dead on the ground with Dr. Jekyll no where to be found. I think this reflects the values and issues of the time because back then alot of murders that happened and when these murder's happened the murderer would go missing no where to be found so i think this relates to the issues perfectly.

AnimeGhoul8863:

I agreeMiddle class and povertymany ragged children huddled in the doorways, and many women of many different nationalities passing out, key in hand, to have a morning glass; and the next moment the fog settled down again upon that part, as brown as umber, and cut him off from his blackguardly surroundings. This was the home of Henry Jekyll's favorite; of a man who was heir to a quarter of a million sterling.
