As you know, a good way to organize ideas, concepts, and your thoughts is to organize them into an outline. Here is your goal for this assignment: Write an outline for an expository essay Write an outline using either the point by point or the extended method of organization for a comparison or contrast paper. Be sure to properly indent for subpoints and details. If you need to, consult the discussion on outlines in the previous lesson "Approaches to Nonfiction," section 2.

\(\bf\color{blueviolet}{•~Introduction}\) Bullying is a serious issue that can be found anywhere. It's known to hurt others physically and/or mentally. Bullying has no limit; it can occur at any grade level and any age. Due to bullying, people have fallen into depression, anxiety, and even suicide. It's most common to be bullied in schools or online (cyberbullying). The question is, how to reduce bullying? \(\bf\color{aquamarine}{•~Body~Paragraph~1}\) When most bullying situations begin, it's not as easy to tell. It starts off with namecalling and doesn't really worry adults. "Ignore them," they say. However, that's the problem. Ignoring the bully won't improve the situation, but make it worst. It could escalate from namecalling to physical violence. Begin by politely confronting the bully. By confronting, you're standing up for yourself and giving yourself respect. \(\bf\color{springgreen}{•~ Body~ Paragraph~2}\) If the bullying continues, discuss with an adult. The adult could be a parent, guardian, teacher, etc. An adult can do many things during this occasion.
