most dogs are put in a pound and have a certain time frame before they get put to sleep 4 ever

Call animal protection services so that way they would come get the dog and lock the person up for abuse of animal and then after they would get out of jail they would have a certain amount of years they would not be able to have a pet or maybe they just get band from ever getting a pet again depending on how bad the dog is injured

I would keep the dog and let it have a happy life. all of my animals are rescues, so im sure my parents wouldn't mind another.
