So the way a heartbeat works is that the atria pump blood toward the ventricles first, then the ventricles push the blood to the lungs and other parts of the body. So, the first part of the heartbeat is caused by the contractions of the atria.

Nah, it'd be A. The arrow is pointing to the first "pulse" of the heartbeat. That's caused by the atria, not the ventricles. The second "pulse", where the line dips, would be caused by the ventricles.
