mramirez:

Explain why the phrase in this sentence is nonrestrictive, or nonessential to the sentence: My youngest brother, Julian, is already taller than I am.

Razor:

When mentioning a name in a sentence if it does not need it, is nonrestrictive. It's also non-essential because of how it says "younger brother" Already saying both his name and whether his younger or not concludes Julian as a whole is your answer @mramirez
