Vocaloid:

calc iii: Find three numbers whose sum is 30 and whose sum of squares is a minimum. I know the solution just want to know how to prove this using calc III methods *** I am aware of the solution but I am seeking to prove this with *** CALCULUS *** not algebraic methods***

jhonyy9:

i dont know why i think that are 8,10 and 12 with sum of squares = 64 +100+144 - than we give smalest number then 8 so the second and 3rd number need being greatest then 10 and/or 12 - this may be the right way ?

Vocaloid:

the solution is 10, 10, 10 like the question says I am seeking to prove this via calculus

jhonyy9:

wait i ve tought that need being 3 different numbers

jhonyy9:

and so i m right with 8,10 and 12
