There are a lot of components to Garage Band, what are you trying to do

(If you are only creating songs(beats))

You can create a new project, it should be the first page you see when you open the application or you could to go File > New ()

It should give you these options



This depends on what you want to do. If you are recording yourself or a group, select the middle ones. If you want to do a drummer role, do the far right and the left is to use pre-made instrument beats

If the piano is electric and can be connected to the computer then youll be fine there, else you have to record piano seperately

I don't have an electric piano so which one should I pick and also I have a piano and how can I put it into garage band lol

also if I want to record to voices at the same time singing the same lyrics one in a higher tone and one in a lower tone how do I do that I tried but it wasn't in sync and one was slower then the other voice
