Honor Killings

In my research project, I want to do research on honor killings. I know this is not as much common here in the United States but in Middle Eastern countries, it is really common. It is unfair and needs to more known about. I want to research what circumstances push individuals to kill their own daughters or sisters. It is so hard for me to even grasp this idea that for the sake of honor, someone is willing to do something like this. My plans for this research project is to highlight and inform on why these types of killings take place. I want to educate at least one person
