The Raven scare tactics?
Well, the man keeps hearing a knock at his door, but when he finally opens it, he just sees the darkness since it's nearly midnight (as it says in the poem). He ignores it & thinks nothing more than the wind. Later on in the poem, the raven flies into the room, & repeats "Nevermore" whenever the man asks questions. I'm not sure if there's more but that's what I have.
That's good
And in Tale- tell heart, would you say the heartbeat of the old man would work?
Literally the narrators thoughts seem like scare to me
By the looks of it, it would seem the old man's eyes, his groan, his heart, & then the other man's (the main one) mind. The reason I say his mind is because the old man never saw it coming until his impending death, & you never know what someone is thinking of doing to you. That last bit might've been a slight stretch but that's just what I personally perceived lol.
Oh I forgot you did mention his thoughts xD
Thanks :)
