finding IQR of a set (start with the midterm set first)
1. order from least to greatest
2. find the middle term, or, if there are two terms in the middle, find the avg. of the 2 middle terms
3. separate the set into a) the set of numbers below the median and b) the set of numbers above the median
4. find the median of sets a) and b)
5. find the difference between the medians from step 4. that's your IQR. 
6. repeat for the final exam set.
