Which elements of drama reveal the traits and motivations of the characters to the audience?

Mercury:

choices: plot theme setting stage directions dialogue according to my research on this question you're allowed to pick 2 answers? anyway, let's eliminate some obvious choices: stage directions just tell the actors where to move or other actions to take. they don't really reveal much about what the characters are thinking or why they do it. setting isn't really a good one either (it's literally just where and when the play takes place. it can help establish the scene, but doesn't say much about the characters motivations or thoughts.) between plot, theme, and dialogue, which 2 do you think reveal the most information about traits + motivations?
