我问你 -> standard way to say "I ask/asked you"
我是问 -> alternative way to say "I ask/asked you"
你不是问...? -> "didn't you ask?"
越...越... --> the more (condition/situation 1), the more (causal situation)
ex: 你越说越乱了 --> the more you say, the more confusing (it is/I am)
这回... --> "this time..."
可...了! to emphasize an adjective and/or verb
ex. 你可说对了 --> You spoke correctly
你怎么又来了 --> "there you go again"
那根本就不是一回事儿 --> "that is not relevant"
