Dr. Elizabeth Loftus is able to distinguish between false positives and the true information amongst the hearings from the eyewitnesses. In Bernice’s case, she found that the eyewitness reconstructed his memory, which completely changed the scenario and perspective of the incident. Therefore she marked Bernice's eyewitness testimony as implausible.
