@jhonyy9

jhonyy9:

hi ! do you know the theorem of sin or cos ?

jhonyy9:

eviant are you here ?

eviant:

no

jhonyy9:

the sin theorem say that sin angle is equal opposite side divide hypothenuse the cos theorem say that cos an angle is equal the adjacent side divide hypotheunuse you dont learned these again ?

jhonyy9:

so this in case of a right triangle

jhonyy9:

like in case of your problem

jhonyy9:

do you know sin 30° = ?

jhonyy9:

or cos 30° = ? or sin 60° = ? or cos 60° = ?

jhonyy9:

what may be your idea to solve this problem ?

eviant:

@jhonyy9 a=3 in. \

jhonyy9:

do you can writing me how ve got this result ?

jhonyy9:

sin30° = a/6 1/2 = a/6 cross multiplie and get 6=2a divide both sides by 2 a=3

dude:

jhonny that is not needed, the much easier way is to follow the 30-60-90 triangle rule
