https://prnt.sc/n8ggsu can someone explain the steps to this?

Luigi0210:

Use the formula for finding the area of a sector \[\Large A=\frac{\Theta}{360} * \pi * r^2\] The radius is just half of the diameter, 4 and theta, the angle, is just 180 \[\Large A= \frac{180}{360} * \pi *(4)^2 \]

jhonyy9:

hi ! than the diameter is 8 m so in this case the length of the radius is equal how many ?

lolokrat:

hi jhony i think i mightve gotten it A=πr^2 A=π(4)^2 A=π(16) A=50.27/2 A=25.1

jhonyy9:

yes you are right with this just dont forgat the unit measure of area

jhonyy9:

questions ?

lolokrat:

oh right 25.1 m^2

jhonyy9:

exactly
