It shouldn't mean you're an atheist.
God himself said that he gave us our own will and mind, and it depends on how we will treat it. He even know how we would chose our own path but it's either follow him, or not. But as I've said he gave us our own will to do as we please and it shouldn't stop you from doing what you want to do. That's your life and if that's who you want to be, then that's who you are. The only person at this point that can stop you is yourself.
