StevenCrowder:

Let's see what he has done to benefit us: The Trump blast is profiting those deserted by the Obama economy. Assembling employments developed at the quickest rate in 23 years and the joblessness rate for Americans without a secondary school certificate achieved the absolute bottom at any point recorded. The Wall Street Journal reports that compensation rose 3.1 percent — the greatest hop since 2009 — and that "low-gifted laborers are among the greatest recipients." Trump has made huge strides for women in the CIA. Trump not just selected Gina Haspel as the CIA's first director to be a woman, yet in addition made Elizabeth Kimber the first woman to lead the organization's secret administration — compensating the CIA's "band of sisters" who have drudged to protect the nation since 9/11. America became the largest world's largest oil producers in the world. https://money.cnn.com/2018/09/12/investing/us-oil-production-russia-saudi-arabia/index.html The US military (under the Trump administration) managed to capture Hajin, which was one of the very last areas of ISIS occupied land. ISIS is nowhere near defeated, but for the most part, they have no land to fight defend. Trump supported Iranian protestors, where Obama chose not to. https://www.thedailybeast.com/trump-administration-announces-support-for-iran-protests Trump has affirmed a record 85 judges in his initial two years as president. That complete incorporates two Supreme Court judges, 30 re-appraising court judges and 53 region judges who will direct for a considerable length of time. Trump's effective battle for Kavanaugh likewise helped him grow his Senate larger part, as stimulated Republican voters tossed out four Democratic occupants who opposed Kavanaugh. Trump signed a bill that allows terminally ill citizens easier access to experimental medication. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/right-to-try-bill-trump-signing-will-it-help-terminally-ill-patients-today-2018-05-30/

So you're suggesting USA shouldn't be a country?

Edwardcullens5:

i dont want to read all that i know about trump he is not a good president

Kamauri:

it was built on so man crimes

StevenCrowder:

No, you know what CNN and NBC teach you. Maybe even a little bit of the Washington Post.

Edwardcullens5:

i just want the people in mexcio to come to the usa to live free

Edwardcullens5:

Edwardcullens5:

thank you see you understand

StevenCrowder:

That's what the UK did and now the most popular name is variations of Mohhamed.

StevenCrowder:

There goes all of the UK's culture.

Edwardcullens5:

but trump is doing it to mexico and its not fair

StevenCrowder:

How?

StevenCrowder:

How is it any different?

Kamauri:

he is making us pay for it

Edwardcullens5:

border

StevenCrowder:

So? You want illegal immigrants stealing our jobs?

Edwardcullens5:

you don't get me do you

StevenCrowder:

And it actually costs more for border patrol each year, than it will for the wall to be built.

Kamauri:

@StevenCrowder no

StevenCrowder:

Yes.

Edwardcullens5:

idc mexico should not be treated likee that

Brooklynexe:

mexicans are people two xD

Edwardcullens5:

right

StevenCrowder:

Not our problem that Mexico treats their own people like that. We protect our borders.

Edwardcullens5:

you understand

misty34:

A Lot of people might lose their houses because of the wall and become homeless. They would have to plow through peoples houses to finish a part of the wall.

Edwardcullens5:

yes

StevenCrowder:

Yeah and illegal immigrants stealing our jobs also makes people go homeless.

Edwardcullens5:

\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @Edwardcullens5 yes \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\)

StevenCrowder:

Didn't think about that did you?

misty34:

Either way people will become homeless

Edwardcullens5:

don't have to

Edwardcullens5:

come on now people

misty34:

People don't deserve to become homeless

StevenCrowder:

So we can protect our borders from potential criminals (drug-ringers and murders) from entering our country, instead of losing our jobs. (most illegal immigrants are not criminals, but there are some, and they shouldn't be there in the first place.)

PinkGlitterz:

For one the usa isn't a state -.-

Edwardcullens5:

\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @misty34 People don't deserve to become homeless \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) right

You want to let illegal immigrants in, when it ruins our economy, and crime rate.

misty34:

Lock up the criminals and drug smugglers

PinkGlitterz:

True, true.

PinkGlitterz:

^^

Brooklynexe:

its not like we can just make crime go away. it will all ways be there.

StevenCrowder:

Creating the border will stop an estimate 30-40% of illegal immigrants. (the other 60% coming from overstayed visas)

Edwardcullens5:

it is already messy now people shotting each other think about people

Edwardcullens5:

\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @Edwardcullens5 it is already messy now people shotting each other think about people \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\)

StevenCrowder:

Yeah, because illegal immigrants who DO do it, shouldn't be there in the first place. It's called security.

Edwardcullens5:

say nomore

adovbush:

Alright Steven what's the point of all this man, most of us are literally 18 or under and we don't need this lol this literally has no point, we will forget all this tomorrow already

StevenCrowder:

It's moving people from the left, to the right. It's called a debate.

Edwardcullens5:

😒😒

adovbush:

Again, we don't need this

StevenCrowder:

Most of Generation Z is left, only because of leftist news, and politically correct college campuses.

Nayapena:

He is rasices

Edwardcullens5:

who me

StevenCrowder:

For example, when a leftist public speaker comes to a college campus, no-one protests. Right-wings like to hear other people's opinions. When a right-wing comes to speak at a college campus, there's death threats, protests, censorship and even a cost to speak there. (for example Ben Shapiro had to pay $30,000 to speak at a college, when all the democratic speakers didn't pay at all)

StevenCrowder:

That is the point of teaching this to Generation Z.

Nayapena:

No Donald trump

Edwardcullens5:

yes mabey

StevenCrowder:

It's not a "maybe," it's the truth.

misty34:

His misuse of power turned critics into martyrs. Revoking former CIA director John Brennan’s security clearance and CNN White House correspondent Jim Acosta’s White House press pass turned partisan critics who were embarrassing themselves into victims — and gave them an even greater platform from which to attack him. His offensive tweets continued to undermine his presidency. Calling former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman “a dog” and Stormy Daniels “Horseface” — among countless offensive tweets — is not just unpresidential, it drives away potential supporters who like his policies but then are reminded how much they don’t like Trump. He drove away suburban voters and caused the GOP to lose control of the House. That’s because the president has sought to energize his base in ways that drive those voters away. If he wants to win reelection, Trump needs to bring suburban Republican voters back into the GOP fold. His policy to separate migrant children from their families at the southern border was an avoidable tragedy. There is nothing wrong with a zero-tolerance policy for illegal crossings. But his administration’s failure to anticipate and prepare for how to deal with migrant families was gross negligence — a symptom of the chaos that is undermining his presidency.

Edwardcullens5:

so he is rasices

StevenCrowder:

When has there ever been a public protest to stop a democratic public speaker from speaking?

Trump has a divisive political position which is bad for the country, where unity is what the country needs to thrive. Patriotism needs to be a stronger force than classism and racism. Former Republican Governor of Colorado Speech - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFAQNjqH1zA (How To Destroy America) Trump is pushing the boundary further for presidential power where there needs to be tighter controls via congress. IE Presidents re-purposing and control of budgets that is a specific right of congress and obstruction of justice issues congress needs to fight. It would be enjoyable to understand how you came to this conclusion.

Aaaand again to this *facepalm*

These things happened under his presidential rule. He lowered taxes, which could be a MASSIVE contributor.

These things didn't happen under Obama, did it?

Ugh

StevenCrowder:

Not only do I rest my case, I also declare the debate finished, as the original debater obviously forfeited.

I wouldn't credit a president or anyone for something that they have nothing to do with. The US being near the top producer of oil has to do with technology and OPEC cuts. This is a terrible position to take in a debate. @StevenCrowder

StevenCrowder:

Ah, okay. So Trump lowering taxes on companies so they earn more money, which also means they can pay for better equipment and employees has nothing to do with it?

tomzzz:

Nothing to do with it. These infrastructure improvements predate Trump. OPEC Cuts - https://www.reuters.com/article/us-oil-opec-survey/opec-oil-output-hits-four-year-low-in-april-on-iran-venezuela-reuters-survey-idUSKCN1S61M4 Look at the 10y graph here on oil production... notice the ramp begins in 2008: https://www.macrotrends.net/2562/us-crude-oil-production-historical-chart

StevenCrowder:

Notice the massive drop near 2015 and 2016 that you failed to mention.

StevenCrowder:

Not that massive compared to the original start, but still a sharp decline.

tomzzz:

Yeah it looks like that drop and recovery you are pointing to happened in 2015 and also predates Trump. Here is the graph for everyone to see, and your are looking at the US historical oil production:

By 2030 you can credit trump with this (assuming the pipelines happen and we see an uptick in output), however crediting him for things that happened more than a decade ago, you can not.

Well, I would be more concerned with the people who would start one, ISIS, North Korea, China maybe even Russia.

misty34:

I think half the stuff Trump has done is good.

StevenCrowder:

All the stuff he has done is good.

StevenCrowder:

Name one thing that doesn't help, except shutting down the government.

This was an amazing result thanks to Trump's china tariffs - https://www.theatlantic.com/technology/archive/2019/03/china-has-stopped-accepting-our-trash/584131/

Tried to throw millions of working-poor people off of Medicaid, then, once that failed, deliberately engineered a spike in health-insurance premiums, out of sheer spite. Reduced oversight of abusive payday lenders and scam colleges. He drove away suburban voters and caused the GOP to lose control of the House. His policy to separate migrant children from their families at the southern border was an avoidable tragedy.

StevenCrowder:

Okay, so the China tariffs were supposed to create new jobs where American make things, rather than Chinese people making them. This means recycling in America. He is trying to create jobs, because China is stealing jobs from the US. His goal is production in the US.

misty34:

It's working now but, Then it wasn't. I'm glad it's working.

This means recycling in America. He is trying to create jobs, because China is stealing jobs from the US. His goal is production in the US. \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) Unfortunately the tariff response by China on Recycling (added 25% tariff to US recycling imports) had the negative effect of closing US recycling businesses because it was no longer profitable. I would also argue that we are trying to use Tariffs to impact specifically the trade deficit with China. I agree that the goal is more production here in the US, but we want it only in the industries we are profitable which is why China choose to target Recycling, Farming and rare earth minerals in their retaliatory tariffs. Until there is a new trade deal with China in place, than IMO the tariffs were bad based on the trade deficit which is still increasing. If we get a new trade deal with China that benefits us I will change my position on this. Until then I'm judging the initial outcome of the tariffs based on YoY % increases/decreases in trade which looks like this: YoY Variance Jan- Feb 2018 vs 2019 Exports and Imports (Tariff's started Jan 2018) US Exports to China dropped - 21% ($4 Billion decrease) China Exports to US dropped - 12% ($10 Billion decrease) Data - https://www.census.gov/foreign-trade/balance/c5700.html To summarize the above the net effect, the US tariffs affecting China Exports to the US resulted in 12% less imports from China. However Chinese retaliatory tariffs on us resulted in a 21% decrease in our exports to china. So far the tariff's seem ineffective at accomplishing the goal of balancing the trade deficit as the gap is still widening thanks to retaliatory tariffs.

StevenCrowder:

Good point.

StevenCrowder:

I'll get back to you on a later date as I am currently doing something.
