bry1d:

Alex is constructing an inscribed square. Brittanie is constructing an inscribed equilateral triangle. In your own words, describe one difference between Alex's construction steps and Brittanie's construction steps.

Image?

bry1d:

There is no image to this.

umm:

Ah, alright. Any ideas on this one?

bry1d:

Nope lol I am not very good at this stuff my good subject is anything science normally

umm:

Ah, alright. I usually write most stuff down on a Word document and try to figure it out that way without distractions. Give me a second.

bry1d:

Thank you

umm:

(: No problem.

Alex would need to use the diameter of the circle as he is creating an inscribed square that contains four edges/corners, while Brittanie would need the radius of a circle as she is creating an inscribed equilateral triangle. What Alex needs to do first is create a circle first, then draw a diameter inside of the circle and then it’s perpendicular bisector. Final step he needs to do is using a straightedge and draw lines which will join both the end points of the diameter to intersection points made by perpendicular bisector for the circle. Now, for Brittanie. She’ll need to draw a circle with the radius r with the help from using a compass ruler. She’ll need to draw an arch from the center of the circle and then next by putting the compass on the intersection point of arc on the circle. She will need to draw the second and third arc in the same manner until all the intersections of the arcs are to be joined together with the use of a straightedge.

@Hero - @Vocaloid: Pardon the tags, but could you check this and see if it's right, please?

bry1d:

check the tags or the problem?

umm:

I was just seeing if they could see if I worded the problem correctly. Don't worry about it, lol.
