Fifteen grams of a liquid plastic are frozen in a physical change that increases the volume. What can be known about the plastic after the change? It will weigh more than 15 grams. It will have an increased density. It will still weigh 15 grams. It will still have the same density.

slipknot3066:

Think of water and ice. Does ice have more density than water?

Cupcake123456:

no

Cupcake123456:

its less dense than water ?

slipknot3066:

Now, does plastic float in water?

Cupcake123456:

no

Cupcake123456:

Some plastic do tho bc it gets injected with air

tomzzz:

I would add that Volume = Mass/Density, or Mass = Density x Volumes, and Denisty = Mass/Voume. I'll add that Volume (Plastic Container) and Mass (Weight) remain the same in your above question. Hope that helps you think about it!

Cupcake123456:

o

Cupcake123456:

That didnt help ^

tomzzz:

Only other clue you need is that Ice is less than dense than water. You now have everything you need to answer the Q via process of elimination =)

he gots a point,
