It has the workings of a GREAT story. However, I did notice several grammatical errors and a few sentences that could be reworded and combined. All in all, it's off to a great start, and I'm falling in love with the character already!

It started out as any other day, with soggy cereal and toast. My mom kissed me goodbye as she left for work. Meet Veronica Sawyer. my mom is, well, a piece of work. She hooked up with a guy in high school. My dad, Jason Dean. He died in a freak accident, their school gym exploded, and him along with it. He convinced her to murder some of their classmates, by ‘suicide’. I knew i was insane just form the story my mom told me about dad. Like daddy, like daughter.

Ever since i was a child, i was..different, and i knew it. I didn't feel any emotions. I do now. I fake them. I learned by observing the other kids. I did anything I could to blend in.

I looked at the clock. “Banana! Im late!” I said as i ran out the door, my toast in my mouth. As i ran, i saw familiar faces, people that are my classmates. I despise all of them. They don't know the true meaning of love the way i do. To do anyth- “AHH”

I picked myself off the ground and mumbled under my breath. “Can you watch where you're going?!” a familiar voice said. “Sorry!” I snapped back. When I got up, i was looking at my ‘best friend’, Charlotte.

“EEE! HARLOW!” Charlotte particle screamed. “Hey.” I replied. Charlotte's great and everything, but i only pretend to be her friend. “ Oh look! There's Liam! And Noah!” Charlotte said as she started walking towards them. “Oh yay!” I teased. Charlotte gave me a look, and continued to walk.

“Hey ladies!” Noah said as he put his around Charlotte. Liam tried to put his arm around but i gave him a glare and he backed off. “Hey boys ~” Charlotte said in the most flirtatious way ever. “Charlotte lets go.” i whined. “Please.” “Fine fine, Bye~” Charlotte winked at Noah. As we left the street to the school yard, that's when i saw Eli, (the love of my life.) kissing another girl.

My skin burned. I was filled with rage and confusion. I walked, than i ran, i heard Charlotte calling my name. I ignored her and continued to run, until someone grabbed my hand. It was Liam.

“What do you want!?” i snapped. “I just wanted to say..I-I..” “well spit it out!?” I barked. “I JUST WANTED TO SAY YOU LOOK GOOD-” “ Let me stop you right there, i bet you’re a great guy but, i'm not really interested.” I said as i walked away.

I heard footsteps running behind me, i look and it was Charlotte running to catch up. “ We gotta get to class!” Charlotte said as she ran past me. “I forgot!”. I ran into the class right as the bell rang. That's when i saw the girl that kissed Eli.

Well, Eli stands for Elijah. He is male, Harlow Sawyer is the main character. I should've been more clear about that soo sorry
