Question

ok so I'm writing a monologue for the first time and I need constructive criticism for it so far:
Who I am

I often sit to think,
of choices, I should’ve made.

Choices that I should’ve made,
probably changed who I am today.

Time changes a person,
sometimes by a choice.

Things distinctly hard to say,
even when I’ve harmed.

If I could talk to my younger self,
I’d stress what’s most important.

The lessons I’ve learned made me strong,
“Try, try again,”
For me has been a necessity
