Which equation is parallel to the line 2x+3y=9 Question 6 options: y=32x−5 y=−32x−5 y=23x−5 y=−23x−5

princeevee:

@jhonyy9

jhonyy9:

how you get the equation of y from this 2x+3y=9 ?

princeevee:

what i normally do is sorta add up a number to x and y, until they kinda resemble something near to an answer

princeevee:

but i think you kinda try and solve the equation on a gridboard and try to make it a line

iYuko:

If the lines are parallel they will have the same slope. so, find the slope first.

princeevee:

the slope of the equation in the question is -2/3, right?

princeevee:

?

princeevee:

@jhonyy9

princeevee:

i found that the slopes from the question and choice D are similar

jhonyy9:

yes this is the right way
