My point still stands. I'm not equating a cheater to become a murderer. But just because other people break the rules and don't face the consequences does NOT mean that if we get caught doing something that we shouldn't have been doing in the first place, that we should be let off the hook. It just doesn't work like that

Someone speeds and gets away with it.
You speed but the cop pulls you over.
You cannot tell the cop that other people speed and get away with it so you should just be allowed to speed too since others do it.
That's not how it works.
