Color of Flowers Number Red 8 Orange 2 Green 5 Yellow 5 Ted selects a flower from the box randomly without looking and then tosses the fair coin. What is the probability that he will select a red flower and that the coin will land tails up? (5 points) 1 over 10 1 over 5 2 over 5 4 over 5 If it is possible, could you please give the answer AND explain how you got the answer? Thanks!

The chance of a red is 8/20 which is 2 out of 5. So if it also has to be tails up then that would reduce the chance by 1/2 What would be half of 2/5
