What is the total volume of the part? A. 72π cubic inches B. 108π cubic inches C. 126π cubic inches D. 144π cubic inches

Mercury:

old question but will respond so this can be closed volume of cylinder: pi * r^2 * h volume of hemisphere: (1/2) ( 4/3) * pi * r^3 looking at the diagram, the diameter of the cylindrical base, as well as the sphere, is 6. so to find r (the radius) simply divide by 2 ---> to get 3 the height of the cylinder is given 12. plug in your r and h values into the formulas, add them together. leave your answer in terms of pi.
