If we expand out 2(3x + 2 + x), we get 6x + 4 + 2x Add the like terms, 6x and 2x and we get 8x + 4 There's another option that is the same though, we clearly see it's not C, so let's expand out A and B to see which one is the same. A becomes 8x + 4, which is the same, and B becomes 6x + 6, which is not equivalent.
