Read the excerpt from "Rhapsody on a Windy Night." Twelve o'clock. Along the reaches of the street Held in a lunar synthesis, Whispering lunar incantations Dissolve the floors of memory And all its clear relations, Its divisions and precisions, Every street-lamp that I pass Beats like a fatalistic drum, And through the spaces of the dark Midnight shakes the memory As a madman shakes a dead geranium. What does this excerpt from the poem describe? a thought-provoking walk at night a ring of street lights surrounding a park a lunar eclipse a party held at midnight

Elsa213:

I believe the correct answer is the first choice. Welcome to QuestionCove. <3

crossbros:

no

Elsa213:

AngeI:

I feel like it seems like he is drunk? Cross what do you think the answer is and why, we can work from there c:

AngeI:

Ok, he is actually lost in thought. So are you sure it's not A?

ZoeyBiocth16:

its either A or C

ZoeyBiocth16:

i can see were its both

Elsa213:

@crossbros

Gdeinward:

It is most definitely A.

Gdeinward:

It could be B but I would consider A to be correct. One can never tell with tests like this

Rosebud24:

It is possible that its B because of the way its set up. That's what stands out to me though.

Gdeinward:

That is true. the poem does reference thought and such, but most of the descriptive imagery is directed towards the street lamps. So if the first one is not correct it would be B. C and D are definiitely incorrect, thats a certainty.

crossbros:

its b

Gdeinward:

at least its figured out.

Rosebud24:

How to get people thinking 101 lol

werewolf:

It is the frist choice because it is talking about a walk at night and how it triggered a memery
