What are some ways you can verify if you have found, strong, reliable textual evidence?
author, source date and that about it i know
if it's a .edu or .gov those are more reliable because it's harder to secure those end addresses. .edu refers to an education site, most likely a college, and .gov is a website run by the government .org .com and .net can all be purchased domains, so it is harder to tell their reliability
as well, poor grammar or sentence structure can be an indicator that the source may not be reliable
For websites, yes, however the extension doesn't mean it immediately is reliable Usually you want to look at the sources they reference, papers will include their research. Look for its purpose, there are some authors that write for popularity, i.e. "this new breakthrough in tech to use for people with...".
