Martin is doing an experiment to see the way plants grow without sun. He has one plant outside in normal levels of sunlight and another plant in a dark closet. In this experiment, what is the plant that is in the dark closet called? Question 3 options: control scientific method experiment variable
We would be happy to answer your question, but it isn't doing any good for you because this concept is important and will be used throughout your life. I suggest that you should read the lesson and give a try yourself. If you still don't understand, then tell us. For now, what do you think is the answer? Read the question thoroughly. This concept is taught in the 2nd grade, so I hope you have it down good.
i dont understand the question
think of the scientific processes in an experiment and identify what they are. Then apply whats in the question to those areas. But without that you can eliminate answers. Do you really think the plant in the closet would be an experiment when the plant is part of the experiment?
control?
or not?
No. Because the plant in the sun is what a plant would be doing in normal conditions. A control is something thats not a primary concern in the outcome of the experiment. Because you want to see what happens to the plant in the closet it cannot be the control
ok
after all of this, your only option is variable, and this is accurate.
its not variable though
why?
idk my test said it was wrong
then it must have been control. That doesnt make sense, but it is what it is.
ok
