On August 26, 2019, my entire life changed. I met someone at the CSU campfire by the name of Quinn Dietrich. He approached me with his hilarious, yet, lengthy jokes. One could snooze listening to that foolishness! I critiqued his comedy skills with intimidation. Quinn found it amusing. “You have to get to the point” I said. I told the same joke, my one and only original joke, to impress him and be, of course, a showoff. “I thought my jokes were horrendous.”, he said, as we started to converse on the way to his car. We chattered for at least an hour or so; it would have been longer, had he not been a commuter. We called each other and fell asleep on the phone, as everyone does with their first love. I found out a lot about him in just six hours. Quinn is a chemistry major which meant that he would become my designated math tutor. He is also quite the dork which I find charming.
