B) Another ice age will cause extinctions. C) There is no logical conclusion from past events. D) Another mass extinction will occur in the future.

@Gdeinward

me too, Analyze the relationship between CO2 emissions and surface temperature change between 1950 and 2000 using the data presented in the graphs. A) increase emissions leads to an increase of CO2 in the atmosphere which definitely causes the increase in temperature B) increase emissions leads to an increase of CO2 in the atmosphere which may be the cause of the increase in temperature C) increase emissions leads to a decrease of CO2 in the atmosphere which may be the cause of the increase in temperature D) increase emissions leads to an increase of CO2 in the atmosphere which may be the cause for the decrease in temperature

for the second one (about population growth) it wouldn't be D. It would be C, Saudi Arabia. In fact, US is the last possible candidate. Also, US is a largely individualistic country and has high female education rates (high HDI). HDI is inversely proportional to NIR. In case you want to understand more, examine the population pyramids of these countries. China would be a simple triangle, suggesting high NIR. Brazil would be a triangle with a less narrow peak. Saudi arabia would be a logarithmic-based triangle. The highest NIR. US is a rectangle, suggesting little population growth. You may be confused between C and A, because both have extremely high NIRs. However, the answer is undoubtedly C (Saudi Arabia) because China has a population law (limited to 1 child). Also, Saudi Arabia has an extremely high GNI (Gender Inequality rate) and relatively medium to high HDI (human development index). Women education is a bare minimum. This means that there is a much more rapid NIR. You answer to the second question is C, Saudi Arabia.

Gdeinward:

Your right. Sorry higher the median equals more older people, I got them confused.
