Has anyone used InDesign? I may need help better understanding how to do certain things like, I'm not sure how to add borders around an image.

Ferredoxin4:

I learned InDesign a loong time ago and after I learned Photoshop I never used it again. I'm not sure if I can help to the best, I think it all changed after CC, and I'm used to CS6.

Ferredoxin4:

If I recall correctly I think I used the rectangle tool, put the image inside the rectangle, then I would right click and there were a few options for framing

Ferredoxin4:

Then right click again go to properties and there were more options for stroking

misty34:

I think I've seen those options before but, I wasn't sure what they did or what they was for

Ferredoxin4:

Yeah. When you place the image right click and there should be a fitting option if I'm not wrong. There should also be stroke weight

Ferredoxin4:

Then click the outer boundary and in the properties panel you can change the pt size

misty34:

Thank you. I have that class later today, I have an assignment today involving frames

Ferredoxin4:
