A baby begins to suckle her mother's nipple and a few drops of milk are released. This encourages the baby and releases a hormone in the mother which further stimulates the release of milk. The hungry baby continues to suckle, stimulating more milk release until she is full and stops nursing, which stops the release of milk. negative feedback positive feedback
I don't know how to explain without giving it away, but it's Positive feedback. Oxytocin always runs on a positive feedback mechanism.
Ok but i dont know how positive and negative feedback works is it ok if you could explain ?
The increase of one reaction means more of the same, and more, and more. It's cyclical, the only thing stopping it down is the completion of it. An example of negative feedback could be thermoregulation, or glucagon–insulin regulation, etc.
Okay, so the stimulation of Oxytocin (the hormone involved here) means more stimulation of its release. So it keeps happening until the baby stops sucking.
Ok
If overstimulation means the less production of something, it would be negative feedback. Another really good example is how the repressors in the operon model of gene expression work.
Ok thank you
