I'll at least eliminate 2 choices that are unhelpful or ineffective d) walking to their house is good exercise for *you* and can help *you* keep weight off but it doesn't help them at all. eliminate this choice. a) restaurant food is usually pretty calorific and won't really help them lose weight. so choosing between b & c. which one do you think is more helpful in the long run?

I would argue that it's not C. Talking every single day about how they're overweight and they're putting their health at risk, that's going to get really old really fast and just irritate them. Plus you're just telling them that obesity is bad w/o offering any actual advice to avoid it. b is better because you're actually showing them what to do and helping their children in the process, which is really helpful because children of obese parents also pick up bad habits from their parents, and may benefit from having role models for healthier behaviors
