Any computer geek able to explain how a user can get permission to "commit" changes onto my github repository from their local computer? (We know how to use sourcetree)

iirc you need to add them as a collaborator

NP, I recently (few months ago) switched questioncove to use Git as Version Control, so I've gotten a bit familiar with git and github recently
