hellodarlings:

explain the difference between a citizen’s right and a citizen’s responsibility

dude:

A citizens right is a protected freedom (i.e. the right to free speech) A citizens responsibility is a duty a citizen must to for the protection of the land (i.e. enlist in the army to fight other people or taxes.)

hellodarlings:

i need a detailed answer :/

lowkey:

Idk if this might help But for students: -for students, a right is to get education because everyone deserves to be educated -for students, a responsibility is getting their homework done in time for class (which by the time high school rolls by you wouldn't care) because it is your responsibility to keep up in class So basically summing up, a right is something you deserve, everyone deserves, and a responsibility is one that comes with having that right

lowkey:

OH WAIT IM SO STUPID IT SAID CITIZEN NOT STUDENT

Gdeinward:

mhmmm
