Deamoura:

Which of the following reactions obeys the Law of Conservation of Atoms? H2O → H2 + O2 CuSO4 + Zn → ZnCl2 + Cu Zn + HCl → ZnCl2 + H2 PbCl2 + Al → AlCl3 + Pb Zn + 2HCl → H2 + ZnCl2

Deamoura:

I thought it was the second one

Deamoura:

@Gdeinward

Gdeinward:

I dont know on that

JSVSL7:

Which one is balanced?

Deamoura:

idk @JSVSL7

JSVSL7:

I can't answer rn I'll be back in a bit

Narad:

There is only one reaction that is balanced. Check that you have the same number of atoms on the LHS and on the RHS?

mhchen:

Conservation of atoms just means that atoms aren't destroyed/created, only transferred H2O has 2 hydrogens and 1 oxygen H2 + O2 has 2 hydrogens and 2 oxygens. They don't match. CuSO4 + Zn has 1 Cu, 1S, 4O,1 Zn ZnCl2 + Cu, has 1 Zn, 2 Cl and 1 Cu No match either I think you get what I'm doing right?
